2017 Fellow Scholar Research Honoree Program

We are asking all ophthalmic institutions to nominate fellows involved in unique/notable research in retinal disease. Fellows will need to submit an abstract, presentation, and summary including what the research contributes to the retinal community.

These submissions will be reviewed by our panel of expert judges, and the top 20 will be invited to present at a reception held during the 2017 AAO in New Orleans. In addition to the fellows, the expert panel of judges and a keynote speaker will be invited to present, promising to provide all attendees with a rich educational experience.

Five Fellows will be selected as the finalists; the winner will be announced during the reception. To make this valuable education available to a broader audience the top 5 will be published in a supplement to Ophthalmology Retina.  In addition, the top 20 abstracts will be published online at www.ophthalmologytimes.com and will be featured in an edition of Ophthalmology Times.

Directors are asked to nominate fellows by contacting Ophthalmology Times at [email protected] by Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

Fellows will be asked to submit an abstract, presentation, and summary report to Ophthalmology Times for review and voting.
