    ASCRS congregates under the cherry blossoms for 2018 event

    Symposia, instructional courses, skills transfer labs, films, poster presentations will be offered during annual conference


    The Sunday Summit General Session will be held in two parts, with a lecture followed by a panel discussion.

    This year’s ASCRS Lecture on Science, Medicine and Technology, “Innovation and the Future of Healthcare: How to Navigate the Challenges and Opportunities Successfully,” will be delivered by Jeff DeGraff, PhD, clinical professor of management and organization, University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross Business School, Ann Arbor, MI.

    He has advised many of the world’s leading corporations on how to grow, change, and move forward to see positive results.

    Part II of the session will include “The Voice of Ophthalmology” as detailed earlier. These two general sessions will be held from 10:45 a.m. to noon.

    The ASCRS Innovators General Session kicks off Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and features Steve Charles, MD, presenting the Charles D. Kelman, MD, Innovator’s Lecture: “Systems Engineering at the Intersection of Technology and Technique.”
