    ASCRS congregates under the cherry blossoms for 2018 event

    Symposia, instructional courses, skills transfer labs, films, poster presentations will be offered during annual conference



    ASOA annual meeting

    Administrators and practice management staff who attend the ASOA meeting can choose from more than 130 educational courses on an array of topics.

    Here are some of the planned highlights of this meeting (some activities require extra fees):


    • Practice Management Bootcamp, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Dale Carnegie Training: Building a Culture of Engagement

    • Achieving and Retaining Success, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Healthcare the Disney Way, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Duke Eye Center – Clinical Flow Optimization, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • COE Review: Part 1 will be held Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Part 2 will be Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m.


    The ASOA Opening General Session will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., and the keynote speaker will be Christine Cashen with the topic, “Stop Global Whining!”


    The Sunday General Session, held from 8:30 to 10 a.m., will feature Joe Mull on the topic, “Motivating Healthcare Teams in an Era of Change, More Work, and Fewer Resources.”
